Eagle Aspen DIRECTV Approved 4x8 Multiswitch (DTV4X8)

As long as the gps receiver doesn't supply a 22Khz tone or greater than 15.5 volts the outputs will be connected to the 13volt port on the switch.

For this application we are not using any of the switching functions of the multi-switch.

The only mod we need is to change the switch voltage to match the gps antenna, no mod is needed if the antenna will take 13 volts.







LM317 on visable part of board are 18 volt

two Lm317 must be on other side as the three leads were checked and 13 volt output was measured

all four of the lm317's use the 24 volt input

UA78M06 uses the 13 volt supply 




The four copper shields covers an array of 8 transistors, identical to the other sections in the middle of the board
my guess is that these 8 sctions are the switch matrix


Update: the 13Volt feed was via a ferite bead held by orange hot gue near the 6 volt regulator, fix is simple just feed the 5 volts to the bead
